Maria Sharapova’s boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov won his third ATP title of his career at the BRD Nastase Tiriac Trophy in Bucharest on Sunday (April 27, 2014). The 22-year-old Bulgarian defeated defending champion Lukas Rosol after one hour and 21 minutes. This is his first clay contest in his career and also his second trophy he has won this year. With his 7-6 (7/2) 6-1 victory, Grigor Dimitrov received a prize of $77,315. He also earned 250 ATP points, rising to No. 13 in the Emirates ATP Rankings. "It feels good to have won. I lifted my game, not having been having with my previous matches in the tournament. I knew I had to lift my level, especially after the first set. Lukas is a very good winner, who hit some outstanding winners. It was a pleasure to play in front of Ilie Nastase and other greats,” the tennis player said. "I have worked really hard to start winning titles. I have put in enough effort, time and sacrifices to get here."
