Kelly Clarkson was photographed showing up at the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday (April 7). The 30-year-old songstress arrived at the event on the arm of her boyfriend Brandon Blackstock, who she began dating in February 2012 and was engaged to in December of the same year. The lovebirds were joined in their seats in the audience by his fiance’s step-mother Reba McEntire and father Narvel Blackstock. Also attending the star-studded awards show were a host of celebrities including Taylor Swift, Faith Hill and her husband Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert and more. Kelly Clarkson hit the red carpet in a purple dress and teamed it with a pair of peep toe polka dot platform heels. The “Stronger” crooner accessorised with a black clutch bag and kept her blonde locks out in a straight style. Kelly Clarkson then changed into a light blue mid sleeve mini dress as she serenaded the audience with her hit song “Don't Rush” on the stage. At the 2013 ACM Awards, the American Idol star was nominated for a Vocal Event of the Year prize but she lost the award to Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Eric Church.
